Having the same issue, paid interest on loans with original balances >$5000. Entered interest paid and $5000 (the max amount) and I get the same error message and can't file State electronically. Hopefully TurboTax can fix their glitch with the extra time to file deadline and I don't have kill trees and pay postage when I already paid for TurboTax.
