State tax filing
You are correct regarding not needing to file a Florida tax return. As for Maryland, you need to file a part-year resident tax return. The income you received while living in Maryland (dividends, interest, retirement income) is all taxable by the state of Maryland. There is a page or pages in the Maryland part-year resident section of the TurboTax interview where you allocate your income that is/isn't taxable by Maryland.
