Every state has different rules. Since you're filling a 511NR I expect you live in a state that has no income tax and you worked in a state that does have income tax. This is indicating that something on the W-2 is not consistent between the federal and state taxes.
- First be sure that everything on the W-2 is entered correctly
- The State information is posted to boxes 15 - 20 on your W-2.
There are no special forms. TurboTax prepares them all for you.
