To report the state sales tax for more than one state, follow these directions:
- Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
- Across the top of the screen, click on Deductions & credits.
- At the screen Your tax breaks, scroll down to Sales Tax. Click on Edit to the right.
- Click on Try Sales Tax Deduction Anyway.
- Click on EasyGuide.
- At the screen Places You Lived, click on Add a location.
- At the screen Verify dates, enter the dates you lived in the state.
