I'm filing my state taxes and I'm at the review stage. It says: "Gross Compensation Worksheet: State ID for Form 1099R enter a PA Distribution type." I don't know what to choose here?? I started receiving my pension from work and I need to supply an answer to this to send it! My 1099R for says: General Retirement Plan for Employees of Carpenter Technology. Distribution code is 7. That stands for Normal Distribution. They are taking PA taxes out of my Pension. Does anyone have an idea as to how I should answer the question in Turbo Tax?
