The sales tax deduction only applies to your federal return, and only is beneficial if you itemized deductions. Go to federal, personal, deductions and credits, estimates & other taxes paid, select sales tax. Notes that the program asks for the total sales tax (both state and local) that applies to your locality.
Or are you referring to the local earned income tax deducted from your pay???? You would enter that on the W2 screen.
