You stated that you live in IL and worked in OR. The W-2 is correct.
- You should file OR as a Non-Resident. The $6000 should be allocated to OR and the taxes paid were included when you entered the Federal data,
- You will then file IL as a Resident. The $6,000 will show up there also, but you will get a credit for the taxes paid in OR.
