You do not fill form 8962. Form 8962 is automatically populated and attached to your tax return when you enter form 1095-A.
You can enter your form 1095-A by following these steps:
- In TurboTax, open your tax return
- Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Deductions & Credits on top of the screen
- Scroll down to All Tax breaks, locate the section Medical and click on Show more
- Click Start next to Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A).
