State tax filing
Hi, I'm an Account Lead for a software development company. Few months before the year end, I was converted from employee to a contractor. I received 1099-MISC for my work. I have a home office, a car and travel for my work. Do I need to file Income Tax in Florida? I have printers, fax machines, office furnitures. I don't think my car would be considered a TPP, am I correct? Therefore, under my circumstances even if I'm "self-employed agent or contractor", I DON'T need to File a TPP and Income tax in Florida.
