The answer I received to my AL 2019 Schedule A Itemized Deductions question was extremely helpful. This was my first time attempting to do my own tax returns. The answer given pointed me to the correct places to research why Turbo Tax calculated the itemized deduction amount as shown on my return. After reading the material suggested, I manually calculated my entire Alabama Tax Return (from beginning to end) and got the same results as Turbo Tax.
