Actually, TurboTax is adding my State Income Tax withheld (from W-2), of 5962 and then adding this "Other: State mandatory tax of 1166 to get 7128 on the State and Local Tax Deduction Worksheet. I have no idea how the system is deciding to use this figure 1166. I haven't supplied any state sales tax figures as I have no idea what they would be. It uses the total of 7128 in Schedule A, line 5a. I am not checking the checkbox to use general sales tax instead of income taxes. To me, it should use 5962 (state income tax withoheld frm my W-2).
Any ideas?

I can't get thru to TurboTax as my phone no's are not stating I have support. I used the download feature after buying TT at Costco.com. I don't understand why I am not able to use their phone support.
