If TurboTax is filing in the 0, is must be entered that way on the W-2 Form. Try this to correct it:
- Login to your TurboTax Account and continue your return.
- Select Federal on the left
- Under Income & Expenses, the top section will be Job (W-2), click Add/ Edit on the right.
- You will get to a screen that says Here's Your W-2 info, select Edit or the pencil icon to the right of your W-2 form.
- Check box 17, if you have a $0 on a line labeled CA in box 15, clear the box and click Continue to save the change.
- Review the return again.
