State tax filing
The only types of income which could potentially be excluded from income include:
- Pension income
- Two-Income Subtraction up to $1,200 if both spouses work
- Military Retirement income Subtraction
- Child care expenses paid while you work
If you don't have any of the items above, you probably will not be able to exclude any of your income.
As you answer the questions in TurboTax, the program will determine if any of your income could be excluded within Maryland.
