Invalid social security number for dependent MI State E-file
It has been verified that turbo is having issues with MI State e-file, Is it a State issue or a software issue? And if the issue is a software issue and does not get resolved, where can I demand a refund? I am so irritated. I have used this service for years with no issues. My daughter's ssn has not been changed and my federal return was accepted, who ever is responsible, whether it is a programmer(s) fault or another, I hope they are informed of how upset the users are. Tax mistakes, and stealing people's money, is huge, and quite honestly should be a federal offense. With how many people trusting your software, everything should have been cross checked before allowing users to use your program. Already contemplating on finding another service after this year, messing with taxes, and potentially getting people in trouble with the IRS on top of stealing from them (payment for a service that doesn't work or happen)
With all the backlash Turbo has been receiving because of the "Free" service being charged at the very end, I went against logic and trusted a service I had used for years. Next time I'll listen to the reviews. Very very disappointed. If it is not fixed and I end up mailing in my state return's and do not receive a refund for a service i paid for that fell through, I WILL NEVER use turbo again.
