State tax filing
It could be for a few reasons:
1. Your state and the IRS process returns differently since they are separate tax agencies. Your state may not be processing them at the same speed that the IRS is.
2. The state generally processes your returns after the IRS has accepted your federal return. So it your federal return is still pending then your state will be.
