I live in MA, but I work in NH. MA taxes my income and NH does not. Do I need to fill out a state return for NH too, or can I just fill one out for MA?
I live in Massachusetts and work in New Hampshire. MA taxes my income (NH does not tax income), so do I need to fill out a state form for NH, or can I just fill one out for MA. I havent had to fill out a NH state return before, but I noticed NH was not listed as one of the exception states that it said to leave the "select a state" option up to the statement that YES I made money in another state, so I wasn't sure if I had to do it or not.
