To add your $400 Delaware Volunteer Firefighter Credit to your Delaware state income tax return in TurboTax, please follow these steps:
- In your return, select State Taxes tab
- Proceed through the state interview section for Delaware, answering all questions on residency and income, and proceed into the credits section, until you
arrive at a page entitled "Eligible for Nonrefundable Credits?"
- Select Yes radio button
- On next page entitled Enter Your Nonrefundable Credits", click on Continue button
- Next page is "Volunteer Firefighter's Credit" - enter your Firefighter's Credit of $400 and your Fire Company Number, and click on Continue
