I think I was unable to switch away from eFile VA, due to Fed eFile not being accepted. I did go in and add the Bank / Routing info to the form, which fixed direct deposit.
I understand the Fed / State requirement not to process State before Fed eFile is accepted. What I don't understand is WHY Intuit, doesn't tell you you can't change anything before Fed acceptance?!?!
I also what to call out Intuit for punishing users who refuse to pay the State eFile 'tax', by quietly removing direct deposit from the state mail-in return.
