State tax filing
Regardless of fault, if your original return was incorrect, the easiest remedy is to submit an amended return. If your amended return is correct, Oregon will refund any excess payment you previously made.
Oregon gives you three years from the date the return is originally filed or from the due date of the return, whichever is later, to file an amended return. If you're filing an amended return claiming a refund, you have two years from the date of any tax being paid, if that is later than the three-year statute.
