I moved from No Carolina to Tenn. mid yr. My empl failed to stop w'holding NC taxes after my Xfer to TN. How can I prevent my W2 from reporting overstated NC income?

Based on actual NC earnings, I should be eligible for a full refund, however if the income is over-reported I feel that may impact by full refund.
