@Anonymous Do you know if CA will credit you for ALL the taxes paid to NY state?
I am a CA resident, and I have an offer for a very-part-time job for a non-profit based in NYC. The hourly pay is minimal, and I will work 15-20 hours per month. They want me to fill out a NY withholdings form.
I am questioning if it is worth the hassel to take this job. I have other income from a regular part-time, in-state (CA) job and a little bit of (in-state) consulting work. My household falls in the 24% tax bracket for 2019.
