State tax filing
@Anonymous It is correct that, if your employer does withhold Oregon taxes, you'll have to file a non-resident Oregon tax return at years end, showing zero Oregon income, in order to have those taxes refunded. If this becomes necessary, I suggest you file the Oregon return on paper, along with a note explaining that you work remotely from another state, and that you actually never set foot in the state of Oregon.
