If you are working on a 2015 tax return you must be using the CD/Download TurboTax software for 2015. You have to purchase a state download for California. Follow the instructions in the FAQ at the link below. The state download includes both resident and nonresident returns. If this is your first state download for 2015, and you have TurboTax Deluxe or higher, you will not have to pay for the download.
