The amount in box 17 is not the same as the IT-196? Did you make estimated state tax payments during the year? To check:
1. Click Federal
on the left-hand side menu.
2. Click Deductions
& Credits across the top.
3. Scroll
down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid and click Show more.
4. Click Start
or Revisit by Estimated Tax Payments.
Click Start or Revisit by State estimated taxes for 2018.
