I remotely work in TN for a company in IN. I didn't live/travel at all to IN. W-2 bx15 has IN, I paid income tax to IN. Do I have to file a nonresidence state tax to IN?
I live and work remotely in Tennessee to a company located in Indiana, and my pay check comes from there. I didn't go or live in IN in 2015 but I still pay tax in Indiana ( box 15 has IN and Box 17 has IN state income tax: the reason is my company may request me to move there at any time so they consider me like off station employees). Do I file nonresident state tax in this situation ?? I will owe them money since TN has no income tax.
