Thanks for the info but the information boxes in 1042-S dont match with 1099-div. Form 1099-div asks me for ordinary dividend, qualified dividend, and capital gain distribution. These items are not mentioned in 1042-S. All I have is Gross Income, tax withheld, income code and exemption code.
