State tax filing

It depends.  You will need to file a return for Maryland as a non-resident.  But whether or not you will get a refund will depend on if you paid more tax in than what Maryland says you should have.  But even if you don’t get a refund from Maryland, you are being helped on your Delaware return.  Delaware will give you a credit on the taxes you are paying to Maryland for that same income.

In TurboTax, enter yes to the question if you worked in another state besides Delaware and select Maryland.  When you do your state returns, select Maryland first.  Any credit will be carried to the Delaware return.
