UPDATED FOR TAX YEAR 2019
To report that your Vermont 2018 refund was applied to 2019 tax, please follow these steps:
- Click on Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits. [In TT Self-Employed: Personal > Deductions & Credits]
- In the Estimates and Other Taxes Paid section, click on the Start/Update box next to Other Income Taxes.
- On the Other income taxes screen, click the Start box next to 2018 Refund Applied to 2019 state taxes.
- Enter the amount on the next screen, How much of your 2018 state refund did you apply to your 2019 state taxes?
