if you're itemizing deductions for IA, it's already figured into your federal adjusted gross income. If you're not itemizing deductions, then you're taking the standard deduction, and can't use it to lower your tax liability any further. So the answer in both scenarios is you don't have to do anything extra, Turbo Tax has already done it.
