Nebraska State Return says, "You're amending a tax return for the year [this part is blank]. The program calculations and forms you are using are for the year 2025. You should use the program to do your amended return since the calculations and forms for each year are unique. If you use this program to amend your return, review the calculations and forms for the year you're amending."
I have NOT requested an amendment. I have deleted the state form and started over again, carefully ensuring that I do NOT request amending a tax form and get the same result. Clearly, this is a coding error. In the meantime I cannot file my state taxes.
