Thank you for the thorough response. Yes, I did also look for a supporting IL-2210 in TurboTax at the time given the potential for a Tax Liability underpayment penalty, but no form IL-2210 was present for my tax return. I went and found a pdf of the IL-2210 form to understand the tax liability being presented.
I still stand by my comment. If TurboTax is going to present initial important information like a tax liability dollar amount and potential underpayment penalties, direct support and explanation should be given for the liability balance being presented.
