This is the most common successful fix for Oregon e-filing. Since the software insists on something being in that box to satisfy the code, give it a neutral character.
- Go back to the Personal Info tab (My Info).
- Edit your address and, in the Apartment/Suite box, type N/A
- Run the State Review again. This usually "tricks" the error check into seeing the field as "filled," allowing the e-file transmission to proceed.
Your expert likely saw the "E-file not supported" message because the error was blocking it, not because the form itself isn't supported. Form OR-40 is absolutely e-fileable in 2026.
