Request a corrected W-2 from your employer. You will want the information changed to prevent mismatches on your NY State return. Box 20 should say NYC since you both lived and worked in New York City (within the 5 boroughs). The potential problem with putting NYC into TurboTax (which you may try to do) is that you could have the e-file rejected because of the mismatch. (Doesn't mean that you will, but it could happen).
