Thank you for your response. My issue is specifically the "30-day safe haven" rule (whether this is unique to Indiana, I do not know). Please read the other factors involved here. I worked less than 30 days at this place of employment in Indiana. That is what I was addressing. I see nothing in Bulletin #28 that would disqualify me from this "30-day safe haven" exemption. Further, I have filed an Illinois state tax return. The only result from what I remember from that return was that I was not required to pay any taxes to Illinois. I have no other income from any other source or state for 2024.
