Pennsylvania state fees

I would like to let TurboTax Deluxe Edition users know that it is not very well explained on what happens if yoy are getting a refund and decide to e-file your state return. The program tells you that for Pennsylvania there is a $25 charge. It gives you the option of paying the fee by charge card or have it deducted from your refund. What it doesn't tell you that by paying with a charge card that is what you pay, but if you have it deducted from your refund there is a $40 processing fee! I found out the hard way when helping my Granddaughter do her taxes using one of my 5 free federal e-files and then file her state. She e-filed state because the only options are to e-file or e-file later. No mail in option unless you call and go through a long process to be given a screen with mail in option. I did that with my return and mailed it, but she chose to e-file and not go through the long process of a call, oblivious to the $40 processing fee until it was to late. I did not understand this until I called the next day and it was explained to me that she could have avoided that fee by paying with her charge card. This could have been avoided by having proper instructions from TurboTax: $25 fee to e-file. Pay with charge card or have deducted from your refund with an additional $40 processing fee! I hope this helps somebody!
