State tax filing
The Taxpayer Spouse Income Allocation may be correct, but that does not seem to be the problem.
Yes I am looking at Forms not EasyStep. If I look at Change of City Resident Status form, it has numbers in Column B that I did not provide or choose, which are clearly totally wrong, and I don't know what Turbotax calculation led to them.
If I look at New York City/Yonkers Wages/Self-Employment Income Allocation form, the City Wages listed are wrong, and I don't know what calculation was used to arrive at these numbers.
In both of these forms I can't figure out what to do other than manually override, which I would prefer not to do. I believe it is these forms, not the one you cite, that are causing a big undercharge on NYC taxes. Help!
