Background:
I spent the whole year 2024 living in New York.
I moved my tax location to New York in the middle of 2024 because I worked in the NJ office from January to mid-March and then the NY office for the remainder of the year.
Check "Remove These Wages" for each state wage line that is a duplicate. Typically, New Jersey wages should be higher than federal wages because New Jersey does not allow the same federal deductions.
I do not see a duplicate.
I see my NJ wage and NY wage from box16 and my NY wage is obviously much higher.
Could you please confirm that I do NOT need to remove any lines (wages)in this case?
