To enter your 1099-G for unemployment:
- Click Federal Taxes > Wages & Income
- Scroll down to Unemployment
- Click Start next to Unemployment and Family Paid Leave
- Proceed through the interview to enter your 1099-G information.
- When you get to the screen that asks What's the total amount you received on your 1099-G?, check the box next to Federal or state income tax was withheld on this payment. (see screenshot)
