Cannot print hard copy of tax forms seems related to Microsoft Edge?
I use the desktop version of Turbo tax. I've followed the print instructions as provided. When I get into "Print" or "Print Preview" a flag comes up that says I need to get Adobe Acrobat or Foxit. The flag just stays there. I can't even see the forms under print preview. The screen will have pop-up that says a free 7 day trial of run Acrobat Pro then $20 a month forever. Adobe wants a credit card info first. I then tried making copies of tax forms in prior tax years software (2023,2022etc..) as I never had problems with selecting what forms and worksheets and printing them in the past. This year, I had exactly the same problems I'm having with 2024 Turbo Tax. Tried loading Acrobat reader and the Acrobat reader DC version again made no difference. Google articles seem to suggest that Microsoft Edge which being loaded on Windows 10 and 11 may be culprit in that it may have its own reader (but doesn't seem to pick up tax forms and worksheets). Tried re-pinning and unpinning PDF readers but nothing. Even thought about uninstalling Microsoft Edge but you can't and taking pictures of the tax returns but that Adobe Flag sits right on top of the return. I don't believe the trial offered by the add will work either as the Adobe I recently loaded aren't working.
So is there any way that I can get a hard copy of at least the tax returns?
