State tax filing
No, you wouldn't enter zero unless you truly had no tax liability. Getting a refund just means that you paid in more than you needed to, but it doesn't mean you had no tax liability.
On the TurboTax screen that I provided in the screenshot on my last comment, you'll need to enter:
- 2023 tax liability (line 16 of your 2023 Form 760)
- 2023 spouse adjustment, if applicable (line 17 of your 2023 Form 760)
- 2023 nonrefundable credits (lines 23 - 24 of your 2023 Form 760 plus line 1A from Section 2 of your 2023 Schedule CR)
