Why does my tax prep consider me a "Resident" of a state I ONLY worked at ( New Jersey ) when I clearly mentioned I lived entirely in New York during 2024?

I am filing taxes for both states NY and NJ I lived entirely in NY for 2024 but even with all that info, when I go to state summary, I am shown as "Resident" for NJ state return. Is this a bug or is this supposed to be the case?
