State tax filing

NY PFL - Paid family leave is not on the modifications list. It is used if you itemize on federal. NY PFML is considered another state or local tax.

As you go through the NY return, you will have opportunities to make changes. There is a screen  called Changes to Federal Income.  If the IT 225 is needed, it will reappear. You will see a screen labeled Your New York Income Adjustments. It will show any additions and subtractions.
