To enter your sales tax paid, follow the instructions below:
- Open your return.
- Click on Federal.
- Click on Deductions & Credits.
- Scroll down to Sales Tax. Click Start.
- Click on Try Sales Tax Deduction Anyway on the screen Let's Compare Your Sales Tax and Income Tax.
- Then, choose to use the EasyGuide or enter all of your receipts.
- Continue through the screens.
