The health benefits in box 12 DD are not taxable at the federal level. Some states (e.g., New Jersey) might require additional information in the state return about your health benefits. When you do your state return, answer all of the interview questions.
In addition, check to see if you designated any of your W-2 as Paid Family Leave. If so, there may be additional questions to answer in your state return (e.g., California).
