My employer erroneously withheld State taxes for Alabama for 2024 but I was not a resident of Alabama. When I transferred to Mississippi in 2023, my employer withheld taxes for both states. Since I was a full year resident of Mississippi and not a resident of Alabama, I am trying to get all my taxes back. I am using Turbo Tax Premier to prepare my taxes this year but am not able to get all my taxes back. I tried the fix in the help section, but the software is still not refunding all my taxes. Is there another fix for this error.
