I am using 2024 TT Premiere doing NY tax return. In doing the tax credit for tax paid to New Jersey, I keep getting a message "Tax amount should not be greater than tax imposed etc" on line 24a of IT-112 R. The New Jersey tax as calculated was $7909 and I used that same amount on line 24a. I cannot get rid of that error message. I need HELP, I spent a lot of hours searching for the answer in the Community Discussions and all in vain.
