Is the withholding from Colorado? And you never worked in CO in 2024? If so, to get that withholding refunded, you will need to file a nonresident return. The IRS refunds you what you overpaid in federal income tax. Since this is state withholding, you will need a state return. It will show separate from your federal return amount.
