With regard to PFML:

"Several states, including Washington and Oregon, have paid family and medical leave programs. Typically, participation and eligibility for the program will be determined by each state’s laws. Washington and Oregon utilize the same localization test used for unemployment insurance. If an employee’s work is determined to be localized in Washington, then the employee and employer will pay premiums into Washington’s PFML program. If an employee’s work is determined to be localized in Oregon, then the employee and employer will pay premiums into Oregon’s Paid Leave program."

  • Live outside of Washington."
