Dr0617 form is used to calculate the innovative motor vehicle and innovative truck credit available for your purchase or lease of a qualifying motor vehicle or truck.
If you are not claiming the credit:
- Open your CO state return
- continue until you get to the screen Take a look at Colorado credits and taxes
- Scroll down to Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit
- On the screen Motor Vehicle Tax Credit Assigned to Financing Company? Answer Yes. (your answer won't affect your state return).
