State tax filing
Hi and thanks for your answer.
I think I can say that my new domicile is in Europe as I have no address left in PA (terminated my rental lease), no PA local bank account, nothing left from PA except my driver's license that is still active. I am not going to buy a property in Europe just to make me non PA resident (anyway I can't). And the US post office did not want to forward my mail overseas, said they're not doing it.
One question though, on my US brokerage 2024 1099, there's still my previous address in PA (it took me a while to update my account with my new foreign address and the 1099 was produced before it was done). Will it be a problem to file PA taxes as part-year resident and having my PA address on my 1099? Should I still file as resident because of this?
